Special Architecture of Flapper-gate
Inner of the gate we use round architecture and avoid the dead angles of traditional design. We lower the height of gate to decrease the probability of blockage。
The inner cylinder, door plate are made of stainless steel and avoid the possibility of jam.
Drive system has a simple structure and high efficiency, low failure.

  • Have a large action area  and guarantee the entirety flow of the materials.​​
  • Adopt the way of "separate-loose-stir-corkscrew spin feeding" which guarantees the elimination of the blockage in 30 seconds.​​
  • The scraper knife is made of 40Cr and the cross-sectional area is trapezoid.  This promotes the lifespan of the knife.
  • The fixing of the scraper knife uses fillister, bulges and limiting stopper.  These ensure the fastness of the knife.
  • Unique seal structure: labyrinth type and multi-layer seal. No leakage of material even the equipment works without stopping.
  • Driving system fixed outside the bin and maintenance becomes very convenient.
  • Without negative influence to the original system and will not increase resistance of the coal stream.
  • Installation shall be done with flange to make promote the efficiency of the installation process.
  • Employs automatic operation. There is no need for human intervention. It also has on-site and DCS control modes

  • Coal clogging influences the amount of load. -  If blockage occurs the burner will stop working and the power unit may load shedding.
  • Threatens the safety of power unit.   When blockage occurs, the mainstream temperature fluctuates and water cooled wall pipe may burst.
  • Influence the economical operation. - Because the coal bins blocked frequently more bins have to be used. In addition, oil always have to  be used to avoid flameout. All these factors will increase the cost.
  • Unfavourable for energy saving. To avoid blockage of coal bin, higher quality coal has to be used.
  • Unfavourable for safety of coal-feeding. When blockage occurs, coal-feeding work under abnormal working conditions and eventually decrease the efficiency and lifespan of the coal feeder.

TECHNOLOGY FEATURES

Control System : Three (3) Control Modes.

Principle of Bin-rotation Product
The bin is spun by gearbox drives and it forms relative rotation with the scrape knife. During this process the coal bonding on the surface of bin wall are scraped off. Meanwhile a thrust force is produced and this is beneficial to coal flow.

Principle of Scrape Knife-rotation Product
The scraper is spun by gear box drives and it forms relative rotation with the bin wall.  During this process the coal bonding on the surface of bin wall are scraped off. Meanwhile a thrust force is produced and this is beneficial to coal flow.


  1. Local manual control: provide operation on the spot.
  2. DCS control: provide remote control.
  3. Auto control: has 2 modes, one is controlled by coal feeding quantity. When the quantity of feeding is smaller than set value, the equipment will start automatically.  When the quantity is normal, the equipment stops. Another mode is timing.

As one of main auxiliary systems for circulating fluidized beds, normal or abnormal operation of coal feeding system directly influences the security and stability of the whole boiler. A lot of accidents are caused by an abnormal coal feeding system in the actual operation. There are mainly two types of faults in coal feeding systems:


(1) unsmooth coal feeding at coal feeder entrance, resulting in coal break or coal quantity fluctuation;

(2) blockage of coal dropping pipe at the burner entrance (hereinafter referred to as the coal dropping pipe blockage).


Though the latter does not occur as frequently as the former, it often causes bigger accidents because it is difficult to deal with. The Coal feeder Anti-clogging device will  prevent coal dropping pipe blockage.
